In keeping with the bespoke ethos of the Shop at Bluebird, all treatments at the Spa at Bluebird are tailored to suit the individual needs of each client.    Most therapies are suitable for both women and men.

Whether you are purchasing an indulgent gift, or stepping out of your daily routine to treat yourself to a little calm, discuss your needs with our therapists and they will be able to guide you to the most beneficial treatment.

The Spa at Bluebird is proud to be working with Micheline Arcier Aromatherapie as our exclusive partner for essential oil blends and treatment techniques. Please note that, for new clients, these treatments require an initial consultation including skin and lifestyle analysis. This enables the therapist to choose the most appropriate treatments and products. The consultation is 30 minutes in addition to your treatment time, at a cost of £25.

Please ensure that you arrive 15mins prior to any appointment time to allow for changing and a brief consultation. If you arrive late, the time of the appointment will be adjusted in consideration of the following client.

Spa Etiquette

Please….
- shower before arriving at the Spa, shower facilities are available in the Spa
- refrain from shaving before any body treatments
- do not shave before facials, if male
- inform us of any medical conditions, medication or if you are pregnant
- turn off your mobile in consideration of other clients and your therapist.

New clients
In order to offer a fully bespoke service, a consultation is required for all new clients. All personal information is strictly private and confidential.

Cancellation policy
Please note that 24 hours notice is required in order to change or cancel any appointments or the full cost of the treatment will be charged. All appointments must be held with a valid credit card.

Spa Gift certificates
Ideal as gifts at any time of the year, Spa Gift Certificates are available for all Spa services and Spa products, please be advised that we are not able to exchange these for cash or alternative product.

Designed for deep relaxation,  and more penetrating than normal massage, heated volcanic basalt stones are placed on key energy points and used to massage  the body with warm oil easing tension and leaving you feeling truly soothed.

Swedish massage – 60mins / £80
This popular massage uses gentle manipulation to ease muscular pain, increase blood circulation, and helping the body to expel toxins.

Massage is particularly beneficial with the increased emotional and physical stress of pregnancy. Relax on the special cushions moulded to relieve pressure and benefit from tension relieving massage promote well being and calm.

Face and body Aromatherapy – 60mins / £95
A unique Signature treatment which works on the autonomic nervous system and reflexology points along the spine to induce a state of relaxation, while stimulating blood and lymph circulation, this is the ultimate stress relief treatment.

Deep tissue massage – 60mins / £110
A  treatment which is designed to relieve tension which has been held in the body over a long time resulting in stiffness,  poor circulation and posture. Using a variety of techniques, the movements ease into the muscles to access deep layers of soft tissue and help to relieve the tension
Also available with Aromatherapy essential oils,  chosen for specific needs.

Jet lag massage – 105mins /£125
Ideal after a long haul flight, kickstart your circulation and ease fluid retention. This treatment involves a body scrub and a massage.
