rag & bone’s aesthetic is based on English tailoring mixed with classic American Workwear. The Prefall 2010 collection is the link between the Spring season which had a strong emphasis on military details, and the Fall 2010 collection which was roughly based on the clothing worn by the British explorers who climbed Mt. Everest. In an effort to combat the elements, they often layered traditional pieces such as collared shirts, heavy knits, and wool outerwear.The pre-fall 2010 collection introduces this idea of layering classic easy pieces to create seasonless style.
