The Paris based brand Kitsuné opened its first Paris flagship store in the Palais-Royal area in March 2008 after launching their first ready to wear collection in 2005 with collections for both men and women.
The boys are known for the special attention given to the quality of the fabrics and fit giving a classic interpretation art French art house chic. The house prides itself on the sourcing of factories that still embrace artisanal methods to produce timeless product. We love the brands style as it reminds us of those subtly chic French textbook illustrations where all the guys were handsome as hell with the louche elegance of Alain Delon and the girls had the impeccable impressions of Leslie Carron in all those great Technicolor 50’s movies.
Kitsuné have chosen their collaborations wisely with French style leaders Petit Bateau, Pierre Hardy, Colette, and apc and the English trainer brand New Balance.
Their clean laidback look is not only loved by SAB but some of the globes best style Mecca’s including: Barney’s New York, Dover Street Market and Lane Crawford.
The best selling men’s brand for SS10 at SAB has now set up camp in the first of our take over stores, previewing the women’s wear collection at the store along with the full music collection. The area is finished with a specially designed furniture collection in collaboration with German concept design brand E15.
The Boys have also curated New York’s guest edited only magazine ME, interviewing and chatting to those around their circle that inspire humor and challenge them. It’s a great read and has previously been GE’d by SAB website cover star PHILIP LIM, THAKOON & THE RIVINGTON ARMS TEAM.
Following the London Fashion Week launch Party including the amazing live performance from Kitsune Records stable mate The TWO DOOR CINEMA CLUB the Boutique Kitsune Maison is at the Shop at Bluebird from September 22nd to October 12th with men’s wear carried all season.
