Italian menswear brand Esemplare will be taking centre stage with an installation in MW in Spring with their outerwear based collection. Here’s a quick preview of some of the looks we’re loving.
Manifattura Riese was established in Reggio Emilia in 1961. For more than 40 years, Manifattura Riese’s mission has been to make clothes interwoven with care, passion and respect, finding the way to ride the wave of evolution and revolution naturally, inquisitively exploring changing times and then interpreting them – but without denying its own history.
In their own words this new, unique and exemplary path stems from a philosophy that merges past and future, technology and handcraftsmanship, aesthetics and function. Wise words producing clean lines and a fantastic spring collection.
They say that In an era marked by the standardisation of production processes, “quality” is not a term to be used lightly: it has to do with values such as tradition, handcraftsmanship, respect and an eye for detail. These have become rare values today, but that is precisely why they are a vital part of what makes a garment truly “exemplary”. With this approach to production, which focuses above all on quality, the revival of tradition goes through state-of-the-art technology and emerges all that much stronger, more up to date and better able to face changing times naturally.
The idea was to produce a line that is worn every day, not hidden in the closet. Simple, practical articles to be used, reused and consumed, their allure and value increasing as they share our lives, becoming something new each time we wear them and bringing with them a continually evolving message.
Think sophisticated lines, choice materials and exquisitely crafted finishes. Most importantly, however, it reflects the passion of the people who made it.
